Ernie Gaspard grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and attended Belmont Abbey College, where he received his BA in Business Administration. After graduating, Ernie moved to Miami and worked for Joe Sherry as a furniture road representative. He later relocated to Atlanta to work in Joe Sherry's new showroom; however, was quickly recruited by Rich's in their Junior Executive Training Program to work with their Director of Fabric and Interior Design Department, Norman Deans. Following his position at Riches, Ernie worked for Charles Stevens in the Scalamandre showroom before answering the entrepreneurship call to open Ernest Gaspard & Associates - a spectacular multi-line showroom offering a unique and comprehensive collection of home and office, furnishings, fabrics, wall and floor coverings, and accessories.
