About the Brand

Woodland was started in 1996 by Lynn and Pat Harker, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. It was Pat Harker (whose experience with her successful design firm, Harker Design) who inspired the reasoning behind Woodland. In 2000, they were awarded the “Shingo Prize” for excellence in lean manufacturing, the highest recognition a manufacturer can receive. They've continued to grow through the addition of Cabinetry, Lighting, and Upholstery to create a whole home solution for designers. In an era when multinational billion-dollar companies claim that “automation is King,” and “not touched by human hands” wows consumers, their value is all about the craft and artistry of custom designs and custom finishes. Even buyers who understand they are getting this extra value inevitably exclaim, on delivery, that we exceeded their expectations!
