JF was founded in 1977 by Bernie Hovesen, and is a family owned and operated fabric company. Bernie’s two daughters Shelley and Kim who are passionate about the business of design, now run the company. A love for fabrics and design has led Shelley around the world to bring a global aesthetic to more than 20,000 customers across North America. Meanwhile, Kim had modernized and streamlined the business framework and logistics system that continues to allow the company to service its customers with 97% in-stock rates with same-day shipping for their beautiful and diverse product line. Always keen to help designers tackle complex projects and tight timelines, JF was founded on the principles of Customer Service and Same Day Shipping.
